Hide AdAimee Pidgeon, pastoral lead at the school, said: “One of my priorities is to make changes to support and improve the mental health and wellbeing of our children.
"One of the ways I hope to do this is to provide a space in school where I can run interventions and allow the children time to re-regulate if they are feeling overwhelmed, sad, worried, angry etc.
"As a small school we have a very limited budget and as such, I applied to the Tesco Stronger Starts programme to obtain a grant where the money could be used to pay for our 'Rainbow Room'.

"We are extremely grateful to everyone who voted for us and to Tesco for accepting us onto the programme and we are very excited to get started on making our 'Rainbow Room' the best it can be.
“A special thanks goes to the Brighouse Tesco Community Champion, Samantha Edmondson, for coming to Field Lane to present our cheque.”
