Pupils are well versed with poetry

Children, staff and parents laughed throughout a whole school assembly joining in finishing of Craig’s lines with rhymes followed by workshops reciting more poetry.

Headteacher at the school in Lightcliffe Road, Brighouse, Naomi Wood, said the day was “a fun filled, humorous morning which the staff then used to engage our children in writing poetry in the afternoon.”
