Residential school for boys is ‘good’
A Brighouse residential school for boys with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties scored good in a recent Ofsted report.
William Henry Smith School scored ‘good’ in all areas and ‘outstanding’ in ‘leadership and management’ and ‘overall effectiveness of the residential experience’.
The report said: “This is a good school in which students consistently make good progress.

“The quality of the leadership by the principal is outstanding.
“Outreach work is excellent.”
