School life: Exciting re-brand for North Halifax

North Halifax Grammar School is in the process of rebranding itself to tie in with its £6m redevelopment. The school's new website has gone live in February and showcases the school's striking new logo.

The Principal, Andrew Fisher, said: “We wanted to reflect the school’s continuous evolution, whilst still retaining our heritage. The colours of the badge are the same as the old one and we have retained the central shield. We have the image of a compass rose to symbolise how we focus on developing students’ moral compasses and how we enable our students to follow whatever directions they want to in life.”

Alongside the logo and website, the school has installed new external signage and will introduce new uniforms from September 2017. The school has also created a new version of its ethos statement, clearly defining the values and behaviours which its pupils and staff live by.

It still has the highest standards of conduct and academic attainment and still attaches equal importance to both exam results and the personal development of each individual.
