School life: A message from the Head of Crossley Heath

The A Level results achieved by our students in their 2016 examinations are excellent and I am really proud of their achievements.

Our students and staff work really hard to achieve the top grades and we have seen an increase again in the higher grades awarded. League tables cannot measure everything that a school does, but it is good to see Crossley Heath at the top for average point score per entry. As A Levels are a stepping stone to a chosen career path, it is pleasing to see the number of our students being accepted by their first choice university.

Many of our students take what are called ‘facilitating subjects’ which earn them a place at Oxbridge or Russell Group universities. We are also seeing an increasing number entering business-sponsored degree pathways and higher level apprenticeships. Crossley Heath prides itself on offering students the opportunity to study with us to gain the best academic outcomes.

Our support and guidance guarantees that they start and finish their courses with us and gain the best results possible.
