School life: Up for Oscars of music education world


Created to celebrate excellence in music and performing arts education and dubbed the Oscars of the arts education sector, the awards are presented in thirteen categories, from new products and resources, to hubs, music departments and individual contributions to the sector.
The awards will be presented on 22 February 2018, in a fabulous black-tie gala dinner and ceremony at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel, Mayfair and will once again be presented by a Classic FM host.

Hide AdUp against four schools nationwide, Rastrick High School will join over 280 industry guests including teachers, hub leaders, musicians and VIPs – representing the best and brightest in performing arts education.
Director of Music, Sue Fake says, “We are absolutely thrilled and delighted to have been nominated for this award which recognises the hard work, commitment and dedication of the Music Department staff; it really is a whole team effort. It was a complete surprise and we would like to thank everyone who nominated us for the award. We are looking forward to attending the Gala Evening and have our fingers crossed for a successful outcome.”
