Fi Woodhead, owner of Fi and Books Publishing, explained: “We've chosen these two books as they particularly will help children during this difficult time: GO Lucy Go! by Denise Keanie, a gorgeously colourful and fun book follows the adventures of two super cute rats whilst teaching children easy tactics and skills to understand their own emotions and mental health.

"The Naughty Cough by Helen Hasler is a wonderful rhyming book inspired by the first lockdown in 2020.”

Residents can nominate a family to receive one of the books for free.

It could be a 'thank you' to someone who has supported you during 2020, a gift for someone you miss seeing or a treat for a child who needs a little pick-me-up at the moment.

The book is free, only the postage needs to be paid. £2 with each nomination so the book can be sent to your chosen address. Last entries end February 3 or until all stock runs out.
