Starbeck School drummers set for festival

Students at Starbeck Community Primary School are preparing to perform at Harrogate International Youth Festival in 2014.

The Year 3-6 drummers, pictured with teacher Andrew Stratford and Coun Janet Law, play African instruments.

Mr Stratford said: “We play various drums from across the world, and run two drumming clubs.”

The school’s Head Boy Jack Onslow, 10, is pictured left.

He said: “We’re all really excited to perform at the festival.”
