Firm gives away hygiene and healthcare products to staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital

YORKSHIRE-based Thornton & Ross has donated hundreds of thousands of its hygiene and skincare products to front-line NHS staff at Calderdale Royal Hospital

Since March 2020, the firm has donated more than 155,000 bottles of Zoflora and 171,000 tubes of emollient cream and lotion to health-care workers and charitable causes, including NHS charity trusts, cancer care providers and animal sanctuaries.

Workers at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax and Acre Mills Outpatient Centre in Lindley were the first to receive the complimentary bottles.

Since then a total of 14,000 bottles have now been distributed to Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. Thornton & Ross develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of branded over-the-counter medicines and other health-care and hygiene products from its headquarters which is based in in Huddersfield.
