Parent support charity to host Harrogate event

The Harrogate branch of the National Childbirth Trust is hosting a nearly new sale, with proceeds to be used by the charity to help the support service it offers to parents.

The sale will give parents the opportunity to buy children’s clothes, maternity clothes, shoes, toys, books, puzzles, bikes, scooters, walkers, pushchairs, cots, high chairs, safety and potty training equipment in ‘nearly new’ condition at bargain prices.

A spokesperson for the branch said: “The NCT Nearly New Sale, which takes place in Pavilions of Harrogate this Sunday, October 5 from 12pm to 2pm, is now one of the top 15 Nearly New Sales in the country, with a coveted Gold Standard Sale rosette from head office.

“The fundraising from the sale enables the branch to provide face-to-face support to parents, as well as funding national helplines, breastfeeding counselling, training antenatal and postnatal teachers and many more services. “

Running alongside the Nearly New Sale there will also be an Early Years Exhibition where 20+ local businesses will be on-hand with a wealth of information about everything family related from 11am-2pm.
