Public walk against proposals today

Around 400 people have signed up for a public rally today (12 noon) against the proposals affecting Calderdale Royal Hospital.

Savile Park man Gary Scott decided to organise a protest walk away from political arguments.

It will set off from Hunger Hill, Halifax,before taking a mile long route through the town centre.

“We’ll be handing out leaflets and letting people know that this is about the community rather than political point scoring,” said Mr Scott ahead of the event.
