Staff at Macmillan Cancer Support unit in Calderdale presented with sweet treats as a special thank you

Halifax woman Nicola Holt presented staff at the town’s Macmillan Cancer Support unit with handmade chocolate treats as a thank you for their hard work.

Nicola, from Wheatley, has recently started her own business making chocolate treats called Nic Nacs Creations, and handed over around 34 individually wrapped boxes to all the staff.

Nicola’s dad Andrew was cared for at the unit, based at Calderdale Royal Hospital, while she also wanted to help due to her friendship with Paul Bottomley, who is hoping to reach £70,000 in fundraising by the end of the year for the unit with his wife Jane.
