Crowds gathered, keeping within government social-distancing rules, as Amazing Grace filled the air at Halifax Ambulance Station, on North Parade, at around 8pm.
Following the Thursday evening 'Clap for the NHS', the bagpipes played to honour of emergency workers who have lost their lives to Covid-19, including specialist paramedic Mark Stanley, who lived in Sowerby Bridge.

Hide AdSpokesperson for his family and personal friend, Mark Rattigan said the evening was 'very moving'.
Mr Stanley died in Calderdale Royal Hospital's Intensive Care Unit today after battling with the deadly virus for over a week.
"Mark put his life on the line to save others.
"He was as fit as lop and to see someone die of this virus so quickly just shows the seriousness of the situation.
"It's not everyone, but there is a one percent of people not taking this virus seriously.
"It's negligence and inconsideration of certain people which I believe is causing unnecessary coronavirus deaths."
