Todmorden Town Hall’s makeover underway with refurbished railings
Todmorden Town Deal Board allocated funding for the restoration of the original railings around the building which have suffered wear and tear over the years.
The work has now been completed following removal of the railings for refurbishment. And the smart newly restored railings have now been winched into place.

Jim Duffy, Todmorden Town Deal Board member said: "Todmorden’s Town Hall must be one of the finest civic buildings anywhere and it is fantastic to see this important part of its fabric renovated and looking so splendid.
"If we win more money under the main Towns Fund scheme, alongside exciting new infrastructure projects we hope to be able to fund more work on the Town Hall and other buildings that that are part of our wonderful built heritage, such as the park bandstand, bowling pavilion and the Fielden Centre.
"It’s crucial that we take care of these assets and ensure they can be used and enjoyed by all the community for many years to come."
