Remember this...?

The lights went out on Southgate Methodist Church Pantomime Society’s production of Cinderella in 1990. Just 15 minutes into the first’s night’s show the church hall was plunged into darkness. But, true to the spirit of “the show must go on”, Tracey Thompson, as Cinderella, and Graham Alsancak, as Buttons, kept singing while church members repaired a fuse in the mains.

Tracey is pictured here with youngsters of the cast. The Ugly Sisters were played by Ian Woodcock and Philip Howe and Adrian Sutcliffe and Ian Crossley added to the fun as a comedy duo. Other parts were played by Andrew Jacobs, Alison Thompson, Elizabeth Lambert, Deborah Levy and Maude Fraser.
