There will be fun for all the family at Northowram’s annual Scarecrow Festival this weekend.
The village pulls together each year to make the weekend a success and there will be some fantastic creations on display.
As well as scarecrows galore, there will also be a treasure trail, vehicle rally, bouncy castles, competitions, cream teas and barbecues, pony rides and a dog show, a raffle with prizes, children’s crafts and games and live music.
And new for this year, there will be a boundary fun run and walk, a pool tournament, a street market and the opportunity for people to build their own scarecrows.
Information programmes will be available from the information caravan in the centre of the village.
The event, which will run from May 2 to May 4, raises money to enhance the village and benefit the community.
Since its beginning three years ago, it has become established as a regular and popular event on the village calendar with many getting involved.
