As the nights get longer and the temperature drops, many UK residents would usually be looking forward to a winter break in warmer climates. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has made foreign travel more difficult, but these six countries do not require UK residents to self-isolate for 14 days on their return

Bear in mind that The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office currently advises UK nationals against all but essential international travel. You should make sure you know about all of the guidelines and rules in place for your intended destination before booking.

To enter Mauritius, you must book airline travel and accommodation via the official Mauritian Tourism Promotion Agency website, and undergo a period of “in room” quarantine in a government-approved hotel on a full board basis for 14 days on arrival.
