More than 1,000 people from aross Calderdale will take part in the second Overgate Colour Run.
Taking place today, it is expected to be the largest event Overgate has ever seen and will raise vital funds for the Elland hospice.
The Colour Run consists of a 5km route around Savile Park, Halifax, where participants will pass through sponsored colour stations where they will be doused with several colours of powdered paint.
Participants can complete the distance any way they like, be it running, walking or skipping, making this an event perfect for all members of the family.
The run will be followed by a colour party hosted by Bazz from Bazzmatazz Dance Studio in Halifax.
Rebecca Gill, events fundraiser said; “We are thrilled to have so many of you signed up already and cannot wait to see you on the day for what promises to be the most colourful day Halifax has ever seen.”
Pre-registration can be made up until 3pm today by visiting colourrun.overgatehospice.org.uk or calling the fundraising team on 01422 387121.
Registration can also be made on the day for a £5 surcharge. Entry is £8 for children (aged 14 and under) and £15 for adults. Registration will take place between 9:45am to 10:45am and the run will begin at 11am.
