The Very Vera Vintage tea room girls donned their best pinnies and scarves to serve old favourites including Victoria sponge, bread pudding, seedy cake, scones and ration biscuits.
Todmorden Town Hall’s courtroom was decorated with flags and bunting for the event. There was a copy of the picture post on every table and Vera Lynn songs were playing throughout.
Mary Clear, of the Very Vera Vintage team, said: “We had such a laugh in the kitchen. We loved pouring tea in china cups and serving cakes on dainty plates.
“It was so lovely watching our customers reading the old magazines and enjoying the music.”
