A woolly idea - you won’t Adam and Eve it

What began as a woolly idea has turned into reality as a unique exhibition of more than 100 knitted figures are currently being displayed at Clifton Methodist Church, Towngate, Clifton.

An impressive knitted storycase of the scenes of the Bible is attracting attention as it has done around the country as dozens of the small knitted characters make up a fascinating display.

The exhibition comprimses of 33 biblical scenes that depict some of the best-known stories in the Bible, including Noah’s ark, Joseph and his coat of many colours and many more.

There will be a dedication service held at the church on Sunday May 17, at 10.30am.

The exhibition has been touring the country since 2008 and will be at the church until Saturday May 30.

The Knitted Bible exhibition is open from noon until 4pm on the weekend May 16-17, May 23-25 and May 30. Admission is free and refreshments are available.
