This adorable kitten was handed into a Mytholmroyd veterinary practice following the Boxing Day Floods.

Named Storm after his rescue, he was found by a member of public in Hebden Bridge and handed in to West Mount Vets.

He is currently being looked after at Yorkshire Cat Rescue’s centre in Keighley. He does not have a collar is not microchipped.

It’s hoped his owners will soon come for him, but if an owner doesn’t come forward in the next two weeks he will begin the re-homing process.

Sam Davies, centre manager, said: “We are amazed that no one has come forward to claim this little chap.

“He is very loving and friendly and we are convinced he must have had an owner. He is only young, so we are sure his owners must be worried sick about his whereabouts”.
