IT was a step back in time for public transport when a vintage bus rally pulled into Halifax.
Around 50 buses from decades past filled the Piece Hall, delighting thousands of visitors.
Bus enthusiasts young and old were also treated to rides around the streets of Halifax in some of the vehicles.
The oldest bus there was a former Llandudno tour bus dating back to 1938.
The rally was organised by Calderdale bus enthusiasts, the Aire Valley Transport Group and Dewsbury Bus Museum.
Graham Mitchell, one of the organisers, said: “People enjoy the nostalgia of the day and riding on the buses.
“The views on the tours are spectacular.”
Anyone interested in buses can learn more about public transport from years gone by at an open day at Dewsbury Bus Museum on Sunday, November 13 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
