Appeal after Huddersfield accident

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident last Tuesday, October 8, on the A62 Leeds Road in Huddersfield.

At around 9pm, a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a red Peugeot 206 were involved in a collision near the junction with St Andrew’s Road.

The motorcyclist suffered a hand injury for which he received hospital treatment.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed the collision or the manner that the car was being driven or motorbike ridden prior to it taking place.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Southern Area Roads Policing Unit on 101.
