Youngsters from the 5th Halifax (Elland) Boys’ Brigade took centre stage at Huddersfield Town as they provided a guard of honour for the players.
The Elland Boys Brigade were met in their seats by Huddersfield’s mascot Terry the Terrier before been taken down to the side of the pitch so they could pick up their flags ahead of the game against Brentford at the John Smith stadium.
The boys then took their places on the pitch as the teams emerged from the tunnel.
After watching the first half, the lads were invited to take part in the half time game where they had to kick the ball into an inflatable ‘paint pot’.
After showing the professionals how it is done, the lads settled down to watch Huddersfield secure the three point haul during the second half, the Terriers emerging 2 - 1 winners.
James Pickles, of Elland Boys’ Brigade said: “The boys had a brilliant day, thanks to all at Huddersfield Town for making it possible.”
