Black Dyke Band were crowned the winners of the 2015 European Brass Championships on Saturday.
The band, who are based in Queensbury, beat scores of other bands from across the Europe and wowed audiences in Freiburg, Germany.
The competition, organised by the European Brass Band Association, welcomed 18 bands from 14 different countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland and Wales.
The band last scooped the European title in 2012.
Speaking from Freiburg, secretary Mike Shenton, said: “We are delighted that we are now European Champions again for the thirteenth time, as well as current reigning British Open and National Champions.”
