The renowned Black Dyke Band last night performed in its home village.
Its Top of the World contest was held at Black Dyke Mill, Queensbury, and was well supported by villagers.
The concert was part of a series of events to mark the 150th anniversary of the name Queensbury - the area was previously known as Queenshead.
The Queensbury History Society is currently running an exhibition at Victoria Hall which includes dozens of photographs relating to the village down the years.
It runs until 7 pm tonight (Fri/14th) and tomorrow from 9 am to 3 pm.
