Two boys have been found safe and well after getting separated from their parents in the moors.

Police were called at 2.50pm to Deanhead Reservoir near Scammonden after receiving the reports of the two boys aged 11 and 12 going missing.

Officers from Calderdale and Kirklees rushed to the scene and a police helicopter was called to help with the search.

The boys were located close to Oldham Road, safe and well within 30 minutes of the police receiving the call.
