Brewing up some charity cash with auction

Preparations are well underway for this year's annual Brewery Charity Auction and Raffle on Saturday, November 3 at 12 noon.

The event will take place at the Jubilee Refreshment Rooms at Sowerby Bridge Railway Station and will raise funds for the Forget Me Not Trust Children’s Hospice.

Members of the public are being asked to donate old items of pub memorabilia, including beer mats, ash trays, pumpclips and beer trays. They can be handed in at the Refreshment Rooms.

Last year, the event raised more than £2,500 for the charity.
