Bright morning but rain on the way for Calderdale

Cloud will thicken after late morning ahead of a band of rain, with winds strengthening. Spells of rain, some heavy rain, should arrive by late afternoon. Maximum Temperature 9C.

Rain will clear eastwards with winds easing to calm during the evening, but remaining cloudy for a time with hill fog. Becoming clearer later in the night with patchy frost. Minimum Temperature -1C.

There are some minor delays on the A58 Bolton Brow in Sowerby Bridge which is busy but moving around the A6026 Wakefield Road traffic lights junction.

Traffic is moving slowly on the A644 Wakefield Road in Mirfield from Cooper Bridge Roundabout to the M62 Junction 25 Roundabout.

Drivers may also experience some minor delays along the Elland bypass from and travelling up to Ainley Top roundabout.
