Hebden Bridge brothers Joe (17) and Sol (15) Cotton will be playing the Pevensie

brothers Peter and Edmund in an adaptation of the iconic children’s story of good versus evil, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The production will be staged at Square Chapel, Halifax, by Calderdale Theatre School, which performed at the National Theatre in London last summer.

The cast of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is made up of 32 young people

aged 15 to 19 from all over Calderdale. More than half of them are from Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd and the surrounding area or attend Calder High School.

The students’ show will be staged on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (March 21 to 23) at 7.30pm.
