A group of adventurous Brownies have celebrated their 90th anniversary - making them the oldest Brownie group in Calderdale.
The 30 girls from the 1st Sowerby Bridge Brownies marked the special occasion with a party, with a display of Brownie Guiding memorabilia, games, songs and more.
Millie Wright, 7, said: “We wrote poems, learnt songs and made a new badge for our 90th birthday.”
Group leader Alicia Wright said: “This was a great opportunity for the community to celebrate our pack running continuously for the past 90 years, to show how Brownies has changed and how it has remained the same. The party went really well. It was a great chance to see old friends and new at our party.”
The event was a huge success and brought back memories for everyone who attended.
