Calderdale road remains closed after major water main burst

It was initially though that A646 would remain closed until Thursday 'due to the significant damage caused and the need to restore the road so it is safe'.

However Yorkshire Water has said: "We’ll be lifting the road closure and replacing it with two way traffic lights later today. We hope to have the traffic lights in place before peak traffic this evening and will stay in place overnight. Once it is safe, we'll remove them."
