Business expert Kate to transform children's lives

Kate Hardcastle is taking on the role of Trustee on board for The Diana Award, set up as a lasting legacy to Princess Diana’s belief that young people have the power the change the world for the better.

Her sons The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry support the Award and Prime Minister David Cameron MP is Patron.

Kate is a successful businesswoman with award winning success in delivering commercial ventures and charitable partnerships.

She has forged a highly successfully media career and is the go-to business expert for BBC TV and radio, ITV and Sky News and is a champion for women in business, sports andmedia and was the first woman to speak at the Arabian Business awards.

Alongside her business career, Kate has established numerous charitable causes including the award winning Dreamgirls and Positive Image.

Kate has won numerous awards including Tesco Enterprising Mum of the Year, IOD Director of the Month and last year’s Network She Woman of Influence.

The annoucement of Kate’s new role comes alongside the appointment of social entrepreneur Wayne Bulpitt as The Diana Award new Chair of Trustees.

Wayne is a passionate supporter of social entrepreneurship, especially supporting and developing young people. In 2009 he became The Scout Association’s first UK Chief Commissioner with responsibility for leading the UK movements 550,000 members.

Other new Trustees are Emily Murrell and Diana Award Holder Michael Abiodun Olatokun.
