A recruitment business is doing its bit for charity by arranging a Macmillan coffee morning and having their branch manager take part in a head shave.
EJG Associates will hold the fundraising event on September 25 between 11am and 1pm and will have a coffee and cake sale as well as a raffle.
Branch manager Thomas Jones will be participating in the Brave the Shave initiative to help raise funds for the charity.
He said: “We are supporting Macmillan as we feel this is a worthwhile charity due to the work they do, Over the years a number of us in the office have been affected by cancer in some way and so have a number of our clients
“This year Macmillan are celebrating 25 years of coffee mornings so with this milestone in mind we hav decided to support them this year as our charity.
“We aim to raise as much as possible but also to help raise awareness of Macmillan. On the day we are having a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses such as family bowling, a meal for two and cinema tickets.
“We will also be attending clients’ offices with coffee and cake in the build up to the event for those who are unavailable to attend.”
