More than 90 jobs are being created in Elland during the next two months.

Fast-growing direct marketing company Reactiv is moving its contact centre to the Lowfields Business Park, Elland, this weekend, and a recruitment campaign is now underway.

The company, which employs over 200 staff, is looking for around 90 call centre agents, graphic designers and website developers to work at the new £250,000 centre within Elant House.

It has organised a jobs fair at the Shay Stadium, Halifax, next Wednesday, September 19.

Reactiv was started by 41-year-old managing director Tony Abbott, five years ago with just 12 staff, at its headquarters in Gas Works Lane, Elland.

It’s moving just over half of its workforce – 110 – to Lowfields. The rest, who work in accounts, customer service, HR and the digital and apps field, are staying put.

It has installed 700 new phone lines at Lowfields along with 200 new chairs and desks.

“We outgrew the contact centre at Gas Works Lane and need to take on more staff to fulfil demand. Our roots are in Elland and we want to stay here so Lowfields is perfect,” says Mr Abbott.

His ambition is to make Reactiv a market leader in direct marketing and he has plans to take on more staff early next year.

The company has just completed its 20th app for the iStore, and has released more apps for the iStore than any other UK developer.

Reactiv has a London and Nottingham office as well as the two offices in Elland.

The jobs fair is from 1pm to 6.30pm and those attending should take a CV. More details at
