The work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was promoted at the latest meeting of Business for Calderdale.
Through its Yorkshire Business Supporters Network the service - which has an office in Elland - is encouraging businesses to become brand members.
Eastwood & Partners (Financial Services), of Elland, hosted the event which was addressed by chief pilot Andy Lister, fundraising manager Nicky Massen and Carrie Cheeseman who was seriously injured in an accident and the YAA helped saved her life, and was later called out to her husband after a cycling accident.
She said nobody ever knew when their loved ones would need the service.
The charity needs to raise £7,200 per day to keep both of its air ambulances in the air.
