Sidhil has triumphed at the Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Healthcare Business Awards.

The firm based at Holmfield, Halifax, won the export award for its exceptional achievements over the last 12 months.

It was presented in front of more than 100 delegates at a dinner held at the Royal Armouries, Leeds.

The Medilink Awards, held in partnership with the Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), celebrate the achievements of Healthcare Technology and related Life Sciences companies.

Director Clive Siddall said: “It’s a great honour for us to be recognised by Medilink for our export achievements.

“We’re competing on a global stage and most of our markets are in the Middle East where we’re competing with some major international corporate giants, most noticeably from America, so we’ve got to be on our mettle at all times.

“Achieving this success is all down to our 160 employees, without whom we would be nowhere, and it’s a real credit to them that we’ve been able to win this award.”

Following the win, Sidhil have also made the Medilink UK Awards shortlist, where they will compete with other organisations from across the UK for the national Export title.

The Medilink UK Awards take place on April 2 at the Med Tech Innovation Expo, held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Kevin Kiely, Managing Director of Medilink Yorkshire & Humber, said: “Our region has for many years been recognised for its achievements in the health technologies sector and the quality of this year’s awards nominees reinforces our credentials as a leader in healthcare innovation and growth.”
