Halifax resident Nicola Clayton, business development director at QSH, has been appointed to the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Yorkshire and Humberside board.

Nicola has more than 20 years’ housing experience and specialises in bridging the gap between housing providers and private investors in order to fund and deliver affordable homes.

She joined QSH, a specialist provider of funding for social and affordable housing, in September 2013, having worked previously for Kirklees Council.

Nicola said: “I’m looking forward to making a positive impact on the provision of much-needed homes in our region.”

Simon Williams, chair of the CIH Yorkshire and Humberside board, said: “The knowledge she has gained working between social landlords and private investors in order to develop affordable housing is invaluable.”
