Andy Thornton Contracts, based in Elland, have completed a prestigious project at Disneyland Paris.
The firm, who employ 60 staff, sent 10 staff over to work on site during the installation stage.
Richard Woods, operations director at Andy Thornton, said: “We’ve tendered for various projects with Disneyland over the years.
“They contacted us to say the were building a new attraction based on the film Ratatouille, as well as a new restaurant and boutique.
“Everything was produced in Elland using a lot of smaller local companies for metalwork and finishing work.
“These projects are complicated because the details are particular to Disney.
“The film is set in old-time Paris and it’s all higgledy-piggledy, so we had to factor that in.
“So a door would still need to work properly but the mouldings were all a bit wrong and skewiff, and that effect was carried on throughout the project.
“It’s been a long but prestigious project and hopefully it’s seen by millions of visitors.”
