The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has appealed for new new directors.
This week it celebrated its 160th anniversary in a marquee outside its Huddersfield office.
More than 100 people attended the event and 13 young people were presented with awards for the Tinker Fisher scholarship to travel overseas.
Executive Director of the Chamber, Andrew Choi spoke about the chamber’s past since it was formed as the Huddersfield Chamber of Commerce in 1853, its role today and into the future.
He also stressed the desire to seek new directors on the board to lead the chamber in future years.
Today, the chamber supports businesses across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
