New chief executive at hospice

Angela Monoghan has been appointed as the first chief executive for Martin House Children’s Hospice.

The Lightcliffe woman has over 30 years’ experience of innovation and leadership across a range of public, voluntary and community organisations, at national, regional and local level.

She said: “I feel very honoured to have been appointed as chief executive of Martin House, which has been at the forefront of the philosophy and delivery of children’s hospice care for the past 26 years, not just in the UK but throughout the world. Martin House is a wonderful, highly regarded charity providing invaluable care and support to children, young people and their families throughout Yorkshire.”
