A Halifax pub has re-opened after six months of calling time - and the landlord welcomes new punters.
The Gundog, Crown Street, landlord Gary Richardson says he welcomes new faces and hopes the people of the town will come and visit a pub which is steeped in architectural history.
Original flooring, stained glass windows and a grand staircase are there for punters to marvel at as they enjoy a cask ale.
“We have done the place up. It has been completely restored and redecorated,” Gary added.
Gary has taken over the public house, which formerly housed The Sportsman Inn, as a free hold and will be holding live music throughout January.
“We hope people pop in and have a look at this grand place which is packed with architectural history,” said Gary.
