The Yorkshire Air Museum’s Rolling Thunder Day, which celebrated the fifth anniversary of the fly-in of the Nimrod MR2 XV250, took place this month thanks largely to the intervention of Terberg DTS UK.

The firm, who have a base in Elland, are carrying out a repair to the water jet of the Pathfinder Airfield Fire Tender, which is used to provide the necessary fire cover for the fast jet taxi runs that the event featured.

As it was not possible to complete this repair in time for the event, the company came up trumps by supplying a similar vehicle for the fire team to use.

Terberg provide fire vehicles, foam, equipment and support to the aviation industry and have been a huge source of support to the fire teamn through the enthusiasm of managing director Alisdir Couper.
