UPDATE: Burst water pipe restored at Stump Cross

A burst pipe has been fully restored - enabling residents from the Hipperholme, Lightcliffe and Bailiffbridge areas with water for the first time since 5 o’clock this morning. (Sunday)

The 14 inch mains burst at 5.40am on Leeds Road, Stump Cross.

Technicians from Yorkshire Water dealt with the leak carrying out major works which ran into this afternoon.The company has said that water pressure has now been fully restored and apologise for any inconvenience.
