The Waxman Group has invested £500,000 in a purpose-built 40,000 sq ft office, warehouse and training centre at Grove Mills, Elland.

The investment has been made to accommodate future growth and will be the base for the group’s Energy and Renewables companies.

Waxman Energy is a leading supplier and distributor of solar photovoltaic systems (PV).

Waxman Renewables focuses on the distribution of biomass, heat pump and solar thermal technologies.

And Waxman Training Academy features a lecture style theatre and a selection of pitched roofs for practical solar PV and thermal installation tutorials. A new showroom will display a vast selection of products available from the company.

Five new members of staff have already been taken on including industry expert Roy Oxley who heads up the specialist training academy.

Richard Waxman, chairman of the Waxman Group said: “The new space will accommodate the group’s future growth.”
