Calderdale charities benefited from a national initiative that matches monetary donations.
Charities registered with Local Giving were able to claim match funding on single donations of up to £10.
With Gift Aid, and through match funding, a £10 donation is worth £22.50.
Any charity or group could apply for up to £1,000 of matched funding for single donations.
Groups in Calderdale have benefited by a total of £17,656 - breaking down into donations of £8,452, match funding of £8,435 and Gift Aid of £1,049.
Halifax Minster and Calderdale homeless charity SmartMove have qualified for more than £1,000 in matched funding.
Community Foundation for Calderdale is urging local groups registered with LovalGiving.com to take advantage of the match funding that was made available on October 15, as there is still more than half of the original £500,000 left.
