An online campaign has begun to bring high street favourite Primark to Halifax.
The much-loved store has found popularity over the years for providing fast fashion with an affordable price tag and is often dubbed ‘Primarni’ because of its designer and catwalk-inspired clothes.
While there’s branches across West Yorkshire, including in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield, it hasn’t reached Halifax.
Savvy shoppers are hoping to change this - a ‘Primark, Halifax Needs You’ group has been set up on Facebook and already boasts more than 1,000 likes.
It’s hoped that if more people ‘like’ the group, the idea for a Halifax store could be put forward to company bosses.
What do you think? Does Halifax need a Primark?
