Car stolen after robbers threaten driver

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen in a robbery in Honley, Huddersfield.

The incident took place at about 4.10pm on Friday after two men threatened the driver of a metallic blue VW Golf RS32, reg no MF07 LGJ.

The driver had pulled up on Bradshaw Road to make a phone call.

Police said the suspects then took the vehicle and made off at speed along Bradshaw Road towards Honley village.

The first suspect was described as a black male in his early 20’s, 5’9” tall, skinny to medium build and with short black hair and a thick black moustache. He was wearing a black bomber style jacket.

The second was described as a white male, around 20 years of age, 5’9” tall, pale skinned and slimmer than the first male. He was wearing a dark coloured bomber style jacked and a green bandana.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the suspects in the area before the incident or any sightings of the vehicle after it was stolen.
