The health watchdog said in its report that the service, which aims to enable people to live independent and dignified lives through care within their homes, had made a number of improvements.

The report said the way in which people were engaged and involved had improved, people felt safe using the service, staff had a good understanding of how to look after people in a safe way. Both clients and staff spoke positively about how the service was managed, describing the management as supportive and saying they felt able to raise issues with them.

Area manager, Scott Lovell, said: “We are really pleased with the CQC report following on from our continuous improvement plan that was put in place after the CQC inspection in June 2015.

“The people we support are at the heart of everything we do and we are particularly proud of the inclusive recruitment, quality checkers and family forums we have rolled out in the last 12 months.
