Community spirit will be alive and well at Calderdale’s Neighbours’ Day.
Held on Saturday, June 6, the event will be a fantastic family fun day with something for all age groups to enjoy.
There will be a bouncy castle, face painting, henna and hand painting, a mechanical cow, hula hoops, arts and crafts, drumming worshops, birds of prey, sports activities, a cycle track and much more.
And as well as music and dance on the main stage, there will be performances around the park from 400 Roses tribal folk fusion dance group and Breakaway Brass.
“This year we’ve extended the event to 5pm, so there will be extra time to enjoy everything on offer,” said organising team member Brenda Hodgson.
Calderdale Neighbours’ Day has run since 2006 and attracts thousands of people each year - the aim is to celebrate the goodwill of the Calderdale community.
Neighbours’ Day is now celebrated through events all over Europe and beyond.
The day begins at 11am at People’s Park.
